Fundraising efforts are underway for the March of Dimes

Reinhardt’s Business Ethics class (BUS 290) and Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) are raising money for the March of Dimes as a corporate social responsibility project. The March 18 bake sale was a success with $91.05 raised. In addition, signs were sold at the Glow in the Dark event held by student affairs. Two faculty members donated $25 and $50 each, making the grand total for the event $166.05.

As part of an ongoing fundraising event, the Athletics Department is accepting donations to the March of Dimes with donation buckets at sporting events during spring semester. Athletics has agreed to match the funds placed in the donation buckets.

In addition, a Reinhardt team is forming for the Cherokee County Walk for the March of Dimes scheduled for April 29, from 6-9 p.m. A 5K also is being held. Anyone interested in participating is welcome. The walk is free but the 5K costs $30 online (plus a $3.95 processing fee). The fee includes a T-shirt and dinner.
