5K Fun Run Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital need your help! On October 8th, Reinhardt University will be hosting its Annual 5K Fun Run with all proceeds benefiting the children of St. Jude. We hope that this event generates awareness about the life saving mission at St. Jude, that no child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay and that no child should ever die in the dawn of life.
This event is open to Reinhardt students, faculty, and staff as well as members of the community. Registration and Check-In will begin at 8:00am with the Fun Run starting promptly at 9:00am on Saturday, October 8th. Also, a For the Kids Festival will be going on until 11:30am with an Awards Ceremony immediately after.

Community Members: $15
Please keep in mind that if you choose to pay with cash or check on the day of the event, the prices will increase to $15 for students, faculty, and staff and $20 for community members. Registration fees include a free event t-shirt.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opened its door in 1962 and was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas. It is the first institution established for the sole purpose of conducting basic and clinical research into childhood catastrophic diseases. St. Jude treats thousands of children each year, and is supported primarily through public contributions raised by ALSAC, the fundraising arm of the hospital. St. Jude patients are treated regardless of their inability to pay, with ALSAC covering the costs beyond those reimbursed by third-party insurers, and all cost when no insurance is available.
