Dean’s Scholarship Award Recipients Announced

Nineteen high school seniors were recently awared with the Reinhardt University Dean’s Scholarship. Recipients are selected for this award during an an invitation-only competition where the students compete in various facets in their intended program of study at Reinhardt. The competition is only open to the highest academic-achieving applicants.

Their acheivements were celebrated on Reinhardt’s campus at the Deans’ Scholars Reception on April 2, 2014. Each will receive a scholarship for half of their tuition upon enrollment for the 2014-15 academic year.

The students recognized with this honor include:

Lindsey Adams, a resident of Rome, Ga., and a senior at Model High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is communications;

Gladys Guzman-Gomez, a resident of Atlanta, Ga., and a senior at Cross Keys High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is English with creative writing;

Chloe Laveing, a resident of Canton, Ga., and a senior at Sequoyah High School, Her intended major at Reinhardt is world languages & cultures;

Caleb McFather, a resident of Cuthbert, Ga., and a senior at Randolph-Clay High School. His inteded major at Reinhardt is English with creative writing;

Ivy Steele, a resident of Acworth Ga., and a senior at Kell High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is world languages & cultures;

Logan Cully, a resident of Canton, Ga., and a senior in homeschool. His intended major at Reinhardt is business;

Katie Goodrich, a resident of Cumming, Ga., and a senior in homeschool. Her intended major at Reinhardt is business;

Bradford Runnels, a resident of Auburn, Ga., and a senior at Hebron Christian Academy. His intended major at Reinhardt is business;

Luke Williams, a resident of Canton, Ga., and a senior in homeschool. His intended major at Reinhardt is business;

Katie Gulledge, a resident of Powder Springs, Ga., and a senior at South Paulding High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is early childhood education;

John Harvill, a resident of Lyles, Tenn., and a senior at East Hickman High School. His intended major at Reinhardt is sport studies;

Ross Pasley, a resident of Cartersville, Ga., and a senior at Cartersville High School. His intended major at Reinhardt is sport studies;

Alexandra Powers, a resident of Decatur, Ga., and a senior at Decatur High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is early childhood education;

Zachary Bennett, a resident of Waleska, Ga., and a senior at Cherokee High School. His intended major at Reinhardt is sociology;

Brittany Bryan, a resident of Jasper, Ga., and a senior at Pickens High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is psychology;

Christopher Duncan, a resident of Thomaston, Ga., and a senior at Upson-Lee High School. His intended major at Reinhardt is psychology;

Stephanie Grove, a resident of Cumming, Ga., and a senior at North Forsyth High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is mathematics;

Luke Madden, a resident of Sharpsburg, Ga., and a senior at Northgate High School. His intended major at Reinhardt is biology education;

Amy Williams, a resident of Waleska, Ga., and a senior at Holtville High School. Her intended major at Reinhardt is biology.
