With the number of scholarship-athletes on campus increasing each year, Reinhardt intercollegiate athletics has more scholarship offerings and demands than ever. Created in 2010 to support the athletics program, the 4th annual Athletic Golf Tournament, played at Marietta City Club in Marietta, Ga., on October 21, 2013, was a huge success. The tournament raised $28,715 to go towards supporting Reinhardt’s sports programs and student-athletes.

Benefiting our Student-Athletes

“Intercollegiate athletics play a vital role in life at Reinhardt,” said Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood, president. “Our fourth event was a success, and we look forward to the tournament growing every year. It’s a great way for those who love athletics to get involved and make a real difference!”

Reinhardt’s Director of Annual Giving and Church Relations Barbara Manous added to Isherwood’s sentiments. “Under the leadership of Dan Carmichael and the dedication of the Reinhardt coaches and other committee members, the tournament surpassed all expectations by having more donations than last year. Proceeds from this event go toward the athletic program at Reinhardt University and benefit our student-athletes. Everyone involved worked very hard to make sure this tournament was enjoyed by all participants.”
