Reinhardt Organization of Student Educators Holds Book and Clothing Drive to Benefit MUST Ministries
(published 11/21/11) Waleska, Ga. – The Reinhardt Organization of Student Educators (R.O.S.E) at Reinhardt University is a group of future educators who want to have an impact on their fellow classmates and communities. This year, R.O.S.E. is participating in a service project and needs your help!
“R.O.S.E. is working along with MUST Ministries, in Canton, to assist with their annual Christmas Shop,” said Betty Miller, assistant professor of education and R.O.S.E. advisor. “The Shop allows parents the opportunity to select Christmas presents for their children at no charge. Last year, MUST Ministries helped more than one thousand families celebrate the holiday season. This year, R.O.S.E. wants to see that number increase!”
Book and Clothing Drive
R.O.S.E. is holding a book and clothing drive on Reinhardt’s campus in Waleska, Ga., until November 28, to collect new or gently used children’s books and clothing to donate to MUST Ministries. You can help by donating at least one children’s book or clothing article of any size. You can drop off your donation items in one of the donation boxes located in the Lawson and Tarpley Academic Buildings or Paul Jones Hall on Reinhardt’s campus in Waleska, Ga. If you want to make a monetary donation, you can mail it to attn: Betty Miller, R.O.S.E. Book Drive, 7300 Reinhardt Circle, Waleska, Ga. 30183.
Thank you for helping make Christmas a little merrier for families in Cherokee County!
