The Knox Foundation for Ethics and Reinhardt University McCamish School of Business Host Ethics Discussion on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m.

The Knox Foundation for Ethics and the Reinhardt University McCamish School of Business will  host an ethics discussion on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at 2 p.m., in the Hill Freeman Library & Spruill Learning Center on Reinhardt’s campus in Waleska, Ga. Andre Kennebrew and Lisa Hardigree from Chick-fil-A, both human resources consultants, will be talking about what it means to live the Chick-fil-A values.  

“Ethics is a topic increasing in interest and is vitally important in today’s environment,” said Dr. Kathy Hyatt, assistant professor of business. “We are very excited about the opportunity to host an ethics discussion at Reinhardt University. We encourage everyone to attend!”

The topics of discussion will include: conduct business transactions with honesty and professional ethics; seek to achieve results which are in the best interest of the organization; model and reinforce ethical behavior in self and others; use honesty and appropriate disclosure with clients, customers, peers, and management; accept responsibility and acknowledges problems or mistakes to others, and commits to take necessary corrective action; and encourage discussion of stewardship and positive influence considerations before key decisions are made.
