Reinhardt students swarm to Involvement Fair

By Kristen Doering

WALESKA, Ga. – On August 24th, Reinhardt University hosted its annual Student Involvement Fair to help everyone to find clubs to participate in and have fun on campus. One of the most common areas for students to get involved with clubs and organizations is at the Involvement Fair.
The Involvement Fair showcased different clubs that Reinhardt has to offer. One of the clubs represented was the Ultimate Frisbee Club. Open to all students with no tryouts, it is a great way to make new friends and have fun outdoors. The Ultimate Frisbee Club often travels to tournaments off-campus to give students a chance to compete against other universities. The club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 on the Intramural Field.
Zeta Tau Alpha was also represented at the Involvement Fair. Zeta is Reinhardt’s first sorority and is a great way for young women to make friendships and create bonds to last a lifetime. Zeta hosts off-campus events for sorority sisters to enjoy as well as service projects to help the community.
Representing Reinhardt’s fraternity life is Kappa Sigma. Kappa Sigma is Reinhardt’s first fraternity and is also a great way for young men to make friendships and to give back to their community by doing service projects.
Another way for students to get involved is the Student Activity Council. SAC is in charge of all the fun events for students on campus and selecting what activities come to campus, from bringing in magicians to setting up bouncy castles.

Campus Ministries is the campus worship service for students that meets every Tuesday at 8. Labeled Common Ground, the worship service contains live music energetic preaching from campus pastor Jamie Hudgins. Campus Worship also sponsors mission trips which allow students to help others in need. It is a great way to serve the community and strengthen and share one’s own Christian values and beliefs.
Other Reinhardt clubs represented include the Fishing and Cold Water Conservation Club, Anime Club and the Sign Language Club. There are many clubs for everyone and always something to get involved with at Reinhardt!
