WALESKA, Ga. – Our student senators met Oct. 17 in the Hill Freeman Library Community Room to discuss new proposals and to receive a word of thanks from President Mallard.

● Furniture is being bought for Roberts Hall and the apartments as a capital goods project from SGA. Dr. Mallard extended her gratitude towards SGA by presenting a resolution to SGA president Levi Cochran.
● Some opening Student Activities Council (SAC) announcements include: RU Workshop about “Grit” is being held Wednesday at 6:30, Common Ground is held at Hasty on Tuesday nights, Peyton Holbrook has been appointed as the  representative of Reinhardt’s school of nursing.
● The only proposal for tonight came from a collection of Creative Writing majors looking for funding to print books. Seniors in Professor Walsh’s creative writing seminar need a published book of their works since coming to Reinhardt.
● Senators decided to table the discussion until more information was found out for the timeline and other funding options.
