Waleska, Ga – Once every semester, a group of students comes together to compete in the pool table tournament, at Reinhardt University, in the Hasty building. Starting at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th, 2019, the tournament had seven participants, including the Dean of Students, Walter May. The pool table tournament used the pyramid layout to decide which player plays against whom. The pyramid layout is when each player picks a person to play against and whoever wins the game picks a new person to play. William Perry, a sophomore in the Theatre program, won the tournament. All and all, the pool table tournament was a blast to watch. Each player used different strategies and trick shots on the table that was very entertaining to watch and learn. Everyone was very friendly and polite to each other and always willing to have new people play in their tournaments.
