Rock Band

WALESKA, Ga. — On March 27th, a Rock Band event was hosted in the Hubbard lounge at 7:00 p.m. The event was hosted by Josh Teague, an RA at Hubbard. It was an incredible event; everyone had a fun time playing rock songs, singing along, and getting to know each other. You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi, Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, and Rebel Yell by Billie Idol were just a few of the songs that were played. Josh Teague provided snacks for everyone which made a good addition to the event.

Stephen Taylor, a Digital Media Art major, said “I had a great time playing and singing to rock songs. Plus, I was able to meet with new people who are also interested in my favorite genre of music: Rock n’ Roll.” The only con about the Rock Band event was that there was only one guitar to play with. Thus, everyone had to take turns. On the bright side, everyone was nice and was more than willing to wait in line to play. All and all, everyone had a great time playing rock songs, singing along, and meeting new people. I would love the Rock Band event to be held again next year. If this event takes place next semester, Reinhardt should bring an additional guitar for everyone to play.
