Center for Hellenic Studies

I am currently a participant in a week-long seminar, sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges, and held at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, DC, on the ancient Greek historian Herodotus. It has been pretty intense, but I am glad for the opportunity to explore this most fascinating of ancient authors, and with some genial colleagues. I will try to post more about this experience at a later date; in the meantime, here are some photos:
